One rep max calculator
Your one rep max (1RM) is the most you could lift for a single rep. Instead of testing it, estimate it from a set you have already done.
Estimates for healthy adults (Mifflin-St Jeor · Katch-McArdle · Deurenberg · US Navy · Epley). Not medical advice.
How it is calculated
The Epley formula: 1RM = weight × (1 + reps ÷ 30). It is most accurate for sets of ten reps or fewer. The table then gives the weight to use for each rep target, from 1 to 12.
How to read it
The ratio of your 1RM to your bodyweight gives a rough level, from beginner to elite. Use the table to pick working weights, and test a true single only with a spotter.
